The Range Rover SUV has become a legend, still going strong in 2025, so what’s the point in changing things now? None. That doesn’t mean though that new editions should be overlooked: Introducing then, a new premium version, the Range Rover Sport SV Black. This Gothic newcomer takes the timeless all‑black aesthetic to a new level with a full exterior and interior treatment.

The Range Rover Sport SV Black gives the ultimate performance luxury SUV an even more dramatic presence and this brooding look is combined with the exclusive 626BHP (635PS), 750Nm 4.4 litre Twin-Turbo MHEV (mild-hybrid) V8 petrol engine. The SV Black is especially tuned and is capable of accelerating from 0‑60mph in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 180mph. No bad for a large off-roading SUV. Beauty and the beast indeed. No stone has been left unturned in the quest for a stealthy treatment, with exceptional craftsmanship and sporting finishes that exude drama.

The Range Rover designers have done it again. They have taken their famous product and created a vehicle that combines pure power and performance with a gritty, uncompromising attitude that certainly demands attention. Range Rover’s design team has gone beyond anything the prestige British brand has offered previously with black packs and options, giving every single exterior and interior element a sophisticated ‘Narvik’ black treatment. It appears to the eye, as if the vehicle has been dipped in black gloss.

The Brooding Exterior

Building on the Range Rover Sport SV’s reputation as the ultimate luxury performance SUV, this introduction celebrates the timeless appeal of an all‑black aesthetic, building on a specification already hugely popular among Range Rover Sport clients. Distinctive black finishes, including for the first time the Range Rover SV roundel and brand badges on the front grille, deliver a bold and defiant interpretation of the mystery machine only with added sporting luxury.

The Range Rover Sport SV Black takes on an even more purposeful character for the marque. Every detail on the exterior has been transformed with a Gloss Black finish, bringing an even more commanding attitude to the most powerful Range Rover Sport ever. The car seemingly glories in its sporting attitude, taking luxury to the next level. A dynamic and assertive take on the all‑black theme then, the Range Rover Sport SV Black commands attention with its ‘Narvik Black’ body and full ‘Narvik Gloss Black Exterior Pack’, which accentuates its muscular stance and focused presence.

Amplifying the full monochrome finish is a black‑painted carbon fibre bonnet (hood), and Gloss Black Forged twenty-three inch alloy wheels with Gloss Black brake calipers and Gloss Black quad exhausts. Black is exquisitely expressed in every application – in particular with the new black ceramic SV roundel on the tailgate.

A Darker Interior

The ultimate performance SUV has a dark and purposeful interior to match its commanding exterior. New SV Black illuminated tread plates make a strong visual statement whenever the door is opened, while the sculpted performance seats are finished in a tactile ‘Ebony Windsor’ leather. Gloss ‘Grand Black’ finishers complete the look inside, completing the exquisitely judged blend of sporting attitude and luxurious, technical finishes.

The Range Rover Sport SV is the most powerful and dynamic Range Rover Sport ever, blending supreme performance and dynamism with peerless Range Rover capability, refinement and reductive design, on- and off-road. Its array of performance enhancing technologies includes the most advanced suspension system in its class – ‘6D Dynamics’ Suspension, and ‘Body and Soul Seats’ plus a sensory audio system with added wellness benefits. And it’s black, by the way.
