Car Import Timings UK to Barbados
Importing your car from the UK takes around 30 days from the moment your car is collected in the UK to the moment it reaches the port in Bridgetown. These timings breakdown as follows:
Day 1: Car inspected, collected and transported to our office.
Days 2-8: Shipping booked, modifications completed, transported to the UK port.
Days 9-12: Packed into the container, loaded onto the vessel.
Days 13-30: Shipping from the UK to Bridgetown

Car Import Restrictions For Barbados
Vehicles must be four years or less with an odometer reading of 50,000 km (31,250 miles) or less. (Unless you are a diplomat or returning national)
For returning nationals there are no restrictions on age or mileage of a vehicle providing that the individual meets all requirements laid out in the Returning National Guidelines.
Diplomats have no restrictions and the vehicle is also exempt from import duty and taxes.
There are no mandatory pre-export inspections.
