Car import timings to Uganda
Importing your car from the UK to Uganda takes an average of 65 days. The timings are broken out in the diagram below. When your car reaches Mombasa, you are welcome to use our clearing agent, who will manage your import to Kampala.
Day 1: Collection
Days 2 – 8: Shipping booked, QISJ inspection, Tuning and modifications, Delivered to the UK port.
Days 9-12: Packed & loaded onto the ship
Days 13 -30/40: Shipped to Mombasa
Days 41 – 55: Arrival in Mombasa, unloaded, cleared and registered.
Days 56 – 62: Transported to Kampala, Delivered to Bond, Registered to Uganda, ready for you to drive home
