Is this latest edition to the prestige Bentley Bentayga range the best yet? Very probably. The new ‘Artenara’ edition celebrates the very pinnacle of Bentley design. In case readers are interested, this luxury sport utility vehicle (SUV) is named after the highest village on the island of Gran Canaria, location of the ‘Roque Bentayga’ pinnacle, an eminent rock formation on the island. Incidentally, the village of Artenara is spectacularly lovely, just like its automotive namesake in fact.
The Impressive Exterior
Just announced, the Artenara Edition, a new and extensively curated version of this eminent SUV, is available with either a V8 engine in standard or extended wheelbase (EWB) form, or in standard wheelbase guise with a V6 hybrid. Here at MHH International we last featured the Bentley Bentayga in June of 2025 when the full details of the latest model were announced, you can read about it here.
Thus the luxury Artenara Edition follows on from this with all the beautiful combinations of colour and finish of the Bentayga design team and adds even more craftsmanship and presence. The exterior is brought into contemporary focus with body-coloured lower bright-ware available in eight different colours, giving the Bentayga an incredibly clean side profile aesthetic.
Many key luxurious ‘Mulliner’ options are standard, including 22” grey and polished wheels and the ‘Mulliner’ double diamond grille. This elegant grille gives the Artenara Edition a distinctive visual presence. Complementing this, the car’s badged wing vents carry a double diamond motif.
Further, the Artenara Edition comes as standard with ‘Bright Chrome’ specification bright-ware for a look of classic luxury, while the optional ‘Blackline Specification’ with its dark exterior trim, gloss black front skid panel and gloss black rear diffuser conveys a contemporary and sporting appeal, particularly with that new unique double diamond grille with dark chrome pockets.
While this model’s 22” Mulliner wheels come as standard in painted grey with polished pockets, customers may choose the same design in gloss black with granite pockets, or a fully polished version. Alternatively, the new 23” Super Lux Wheel is available as an optional extra.
A Premium Interior
Unique features include a ‘Roque Bentayga’ mountain motif which appears as an etching on the dashboard fascia along with the precise longitude and latitude of the pinnacle and as a pattern of laser-crafted perforations on the seats and doors. The same motif appears in the meticulously designed, laser-crafted perforation pattern across the seat shoulder panel and doors as well as in the welcome lamp projection. Illuminated tread-plates and exterior wing vents with the Bentayga Artenara Edition type style complete the unique features of this edition.
Eight Curated Colour And Design Themes
The Bentayga Artenara Edition is offered with the option of eight curated exterior colours, each with harmonising interiors that feature a three-colour split: An interior option previously exclusive only to the Mulliner EWB model.
The eight exterior finish recommendations consist of ‘Beluga’, ‘Granite’, ‘Pale Brodgar’, ‘Glacier White’, ‘Sequin Blue’, ‘Dark Sapphire’, ‘Verdant’ and ‘Havana’. It’s difficult to easily describe these colours as the sophisticated shades are unique blends; Beluga for example is best described as ‘almost black’ if that makes sense. In each case the exterior bright-ware elements (lower door, front bumper and rear bumper) are finished in the body colour, giving the exterior a clean and unembellished visual presence.
As an example of what can be achieved at this level of excellence, the ‘Pale Brodgar’ (a sort of pale metallic grey) curated specification features a complementary interior colour split of ‘Portland’ and ‘Beluga’ with ‘Linen’ accent leather hide and ‘Piano Linen’ veneer to create a classic, timeless and elegant ambience.
Another classic combination matches the Verdant (green) exterior with an interior of ‘Saddle’ and ‘Camel’, enlivened by an accent colour of ‘’Cumbrian Green’.
Other highlights include a fascia in ‘Piano Cumbrian Green’ veneer and ‘Fiddleback Eucalyptus’ centre console. Alternatively, a more sporting and contemporary note is struck by the ‘Sequin Blue’ exterior finish, complemented by ‘Blackline Specification’ bright-ware, black gloss with granite pocket wheels and black brake calliper. Car technology is often bewildering, but to be bewildered by colour choice alone is something new.
Opening the driver’s door reveals a palette of ‘Linen’ main hide, ‘Beluga’ secondary hide and the striking use of ‘Light Blue’ as an accent colour. This appears at the base of the fascia, around the console, on the upholstery’s embroidered Bentley wings and on the steering wheel spokes.
Over time in the world of car manufacture, we have seen many combinations of colour inside and out but this writer thinks we have achieved peak colour with these remarkable options. Each of the eight curated recommendations, completely created by Bentley’s in-house design team, offers a cohesive, imaginative and harmonious combination of colour and texture. This is Bentley though so if these combinations don’t do the trick then buyers can, of course, specify the Bentayga Artenara Edition in any other finish of their choosing with the assistance of the ‘Mulliner’ team.
The Artenara Edition is one of the highlights of this year’s Bentayga range. Also new for this year across the range is Dark Teal, a stunning metallic exterior paint in mid-blue with hints of green, adding a contemporary, sophisticated option to the palette. As mentioned above there’s also a new 23 inch Super Lux wheel, which is available as an option for the Azure, Artenara Edition and Mulliner EWB models.
