All Inclusive Shipping Service to Walvis Bay (CIF)

Whilst you may be allowed to perform the customs clearing for your vehicle, we recommend using a licensed clearing agent to assist you through customs.

A Simple Import Process

Importing from the UK takes approximately 27 days from the moment we identify your car to the moment it arrives at the port. We take every care to make sure your car reaches you in optimum condition. We insure your vehicle for its value (not weight) from the moment we collect to until it reaches dry land. All pre-export checks are taken care of and any paint re-conditioning work is done free of charge. At this point any modifications are made so your car is perfectly tailored for you. Once ready, your car is shipped to you and all paperwork is sent via DHL to ensure its safe delivery. Cars are shipped in containers or ‘roll on roll off’ (ro-ro) to Walvis Bay. Air freight is available on request.

Car Import Documents for Namibia

Import Restrictions

Vehicles may not be more than 8 years old and must be Right Hand Drive. Vehicles should not be shipped until you have an import permit. To import the vehicle all documentation must be completed and presented to the customs department together with your passport so that customs can attest the CA304a. Once the bill of entry has been endorsed by customs, this document must be presented to the motor license department who will issue the license. Required documents:

Usually taxes and duties ranging between 15% and 30% are due on the value of a vehicle being imported. Do remember to arrange insurance for your vehicle from the point it reaches either Walvis Bay Port or from the moment your clearing agent transfers your car to you.
